SOL Emergency Blanket

This emergency blanket is much more durable than most mylar blankets and can be used more than once. Most of the cheap mylar emergency blankets aren't very durable and typically last only one use. Note: I believe emergency blankets are such an important part of survival that you should really own more than one. i, e, one in your car, one in your pack, one in your pocket and at least one for every member of your family. A kit like this (include matches and/or a lighter or two!!) and a way to hold and filter/purify water might just be the most essential things you need for short term survival, along with a cell phone.
