this filter is one of the most versatile water filters I've used. It has a 0.1 micron tolerance in the pores of the filter, which is also the same size tolerance of the Sawyer filter and it also has a charcoal element that removes some chemicals and improves the taste of the water that's filtered. It can filter up to 1320 gallons of water and attaches to bottles with 28mm thread size - soda and smartwater bottles. The cap is detachable so you can backwash these filters without a syringe or other special tools. It's 7.1 inches long and 1 inch in diameter so it's a little bit larger than the Sawyer filters but it filters more than just parasites and bacteria and even costs less than the Sawyers.
